River Phoenix was the star of My Own Private Idaho, Running On Empty, and many other films.   These photos were taken at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood in 1991.   I think that with his hair dyed blonde, River looks like Jeanne Moreau in Bay of the Angels.
